BSDHT presents OHC 2023

This year’s OHC will be heading south to the town of Bournemouth on 24-25 November – save the date in your diaries! As we take the OHC to the seaside, what better theme than ‘All in the same boat’ – recognising our role in working across healthcare for the benefit of our patients, and how we as Oral Healthcare Professionals support one another while working together, and alongside other professionals.

The OHC is the must-attend event of the year for Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists and our flagship member event. By attending you’ll benefit from two days of clinical education and CPD, with talks from leading speakers and updates from the profession. Alongside the educational programme there are lots of opportunities to network with colleagues, experts, and industry.

The programme and other conference features are in development – check back here for regular updates and announcements.

Who should attend

The conference has something for all the dental team including Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy students. The BSDHT encourages skill mix and recognises the benefit of this team approach.

Previous OHCs

November 2022 saw more than 300 of you join us in Manchester for OHC 2022 and it was better than ever. 90% of delegates told us they will be joining us in Bournemouth and we hope to see even more of you who may not have been to an OHC before or who are returning for the first time in a few years. If you weren’t with us in Manchester, take a look at the highlights here.
